Play 8-ball, 9-ball, and Straight Pool in a competitive but fun environment.
The HOB Social league was created to meet regularly to play competitive, tournament-style pool in a social, easy-going environment. We keep score every week and track overall standings. The vibe is fun and social, but with real games for anyone committed to playing.

Arrive at 12; league games start at 12:30 and run until about 2:30–3 PM.

Season 1 starts June 7. An official end date comes once we build some momentum.
Commitment
Drop in — no subs
No week-to-week commitment. Come when you can; miss a week and you don't need to find a sub.
Cost to join
$50 per season
Solely to solidify commitment. The pooled money goes to winners and/or an end-of-season party.

Each week you come, we split league table time evenly. This may evolve as the league grows.
Weekly format
This part will evolve the most — the aim is fun, competitive, and flexible, with a core of committed players. Each week we rotate through the games and set teams or singles based on who shows up.

How a week runs
- → No set teams — we make them up on the spot.
- → Even turnout: pair off for single races. Odd turnout: uneven teams.
- → Low turnout: short races or mini round-robins.
- → BCA rules (a refresher goes out to the group).
- → No handicaps or weight — except Straight Pool.

Scoring & standings
Every game and result is tracked right here, with separate leaderboards for 8-Ball, 9-Ball, and Straight Pool. Standings are percentage-based, since players won't all have played the same number of weeks.
